Rosalynd Gillam, or Aunt Roz as we knew her, was the sweet 90 year old aunt of a good friend. One day when my husband and I were visiting her at her nursing home, she called out to us, “Harriet, Larry, I want you to see my treasures!”
We knew that she couldn’t take much with her to the nursing home so we were curious and excited to see her treasures. She was sitting at the side of her bed and next to her was a small box.

Treasures? We asked.
“Yes!” She said, and then one-by-one she proceeded to show us thank you notes and letters from her former supervisors.

Obviously, being over 90 years old, Aunt Roz had not worked in many years. I looked at one of the thank you letters and saw the date, “November 17, 1947. Over 50 years had passed since she received it, and it was still her treasure.

When you decide whether you should take the time to write a 'Thank You' to your employee, I hope you will remember Aunt Roz and her treasure box.

These sample Morale Boosting 'Thank You' Letters will make it easy for you to write a note that your Employees will also treasure - forever!
